R14’s Guide to Growing Up

With the theme of “Blueprint for a digital tomorrow”, our team engaged the topic into a semi-dystopian near the future where since passing elementary, people are graded based on their performance on their early life called the “Normal Life” evaluation. Shall someone failed their evaluation, they will be obligated to complete a “Fix Your Life” program, where a robot assistant will be sent to adjust the person’s lifestyle. If the person failed the program or refuse the program, both the robot and the human will be terminated as they are seen as a burden and a useless expense to the nation. “R14’s Guide to Growing Up” is a narrative focus game with mini-games to company on how to build a good habit and explore as well as motivate players to become a better version of themselves.  As a robot, every night the player will scan for the human’s positive daily activities and assign positive identity corelating to a habit for the human.
